Our focus is on enhancing district success by leveraging flexible funding sources and empowering community engagement.
OUR MISSION
Education Foundation Partners, LLC, is an organization dedicated to supporting school districts in the creation or revitalization of an education foundation. As education needs continue to grow exponentially, additional funding streams are vital to the success of the district.
Our mission is to help districts establish a flexible, locally governed 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation to serve as a sustainable source of funding for strategic growth and enhancement, to retain and reward faculty and staff, to support administrators and teachers to create and innovate, to provide student enrichment, and to increase community engagement.
Education Foundation Partners, LLC provides end-to-end guidance—from legal setup and board MOUs and bylaws to promotional support and continuity planning. Our approach ensures the district retains control, builds trust with donors, and creates a lasting impact beyond traditional funding models.

Services Provided
At Education Foundation Partners, we offer a comprehensive suite of services to help educational organizations establish, launch, and sustain their education foundations successfully. Our services include:
Legal & Foundational Documents
- Preparation of all legal documents required to establish a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
- Customizable bylaws template for the foundation board.
- Educational Organization/Foundation Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) template.
Fundraising & Launch Support
- Coordination of a kickoff fundraiser in collaboration with the with your local organization to establish an initial corpus.
- Assistance in foundation promotion through organizational communications and events.
Strategic Communication & Community Engagement
- Development of an FAQ document and visual aids for presentations to the organization's Board of Trustees and community stakeholders.
- Access to an established network of Ed-FP members for idea sharing and collaborative support.
Ongoing Guidance & Implementation Support
- Availability for questions regarding implementation and event coordination.
- Continued guidance to ensure the foundation’s momentum remains strong, even through changes in organizational leadership.
Professional & Legal Resources
- Connection to legal counsel with specific expertise in education foundations.
- In-person or virtual attendance at Foundation Board meetings by an Ed-FP representative as requested.
Accountability & Reporting
- Annual submission of an efficacy report, prepared for public and external presentation, showcasing the foundation’s impact.
